Was the symbol on the stone tab the same as that on the door (I believe it was). Does Xiltik know what it means?

You think that the symbol on the stone and the one on the door are the same, and Xiltik agrees.

"It is the symbol of Eos, God of Time."

Has Xiltik ever heard of these frogmen?

"I've never seen or heard of frogmen in the Fens. They may live in or around this lake, which I've only been to once, long ago, and of course there was no temple here then. This part of the Fens has not been where most of the rising and falling ruins have been, so it is not frequented."

Does Xiltik know why Orcs and Trolls were in the fens?

"Trolls are fairly common in the Fens, and are almost always encountered in pairs. They are not overly aggressive, and tend to eat things other than humans and demihumans, although if pressed, they may. They do tend to get edgy when surprised, but if they hear you coming and you stay a good distance off, they won't bother you. They are not fans of fighting with intelligent creatures, especially those who know how to use fire. They prefer their pray dumb and defenseless."

Does Mr. X know anything else about the Gnecromancer, is he human, elf, etc. Does he date back to these ruins, was he once good/evil? Would the Gnecromancer want to explore these ruins as well?

"The Necromancer is a big mystery around these parts, and not even the rangers whose territory this is are unwise enough to try to find out more. It seems he keeps to himself, and no one cares to change that. No one has really even seen any undead meandering about the Fens. There are tales of him kidnapping Fenlanders and Gnolls, but as far as I know, they are unfounded. I don't even know of anyone who has even seen his tower, though it is taken as fact that it exists. The things that seem to be common among all stories are that he is, or was once, human and that he has lived in the Fens possibly since as far back as when Balintree was founded. They all say he is evil, but who knows? I don't know what, if anything, he would have to do with these ruins, as the temple (and the city) was destroyed long before Balintree and this marshland was around. As far as him wanting to explore these ruins, everyone will want to explore these ruins. When word gets out that this is really the Temple of Eos, and it will, it won't be long until there are magus crawling all over this place, you can bet on that."
